What to expect
Records appointment
X-rays, clinical photos, and impressions to plan your treatment with precision.
Brace fitting
Brackets are bonded to teeth; archwire is placed. Initial soreness resolves in 3–5 days.
Monthly adjustments
Regular visits every 4–6 weeks apply progressive force to move teeth into position.
Debond & retainer phase
Braces are removed. Retainers are fitted immediately. Worn full-time initially, then nights only.
Why patients choose Dr. Nazish for Braces
Custom treatment planning
Orthodontic treatment is planned using precise records — X-rays, photos, and impressions — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Healthier teeth and gums
Straight teeth are easier to clean. Crowding traps plaque in places brushing cannot reach, leading to decay and gum disease.
Retainer included
Treatment includes a retainer phase. Skipping retention is why teeth shift back — we make sure results last.
Transparent pricing
Full cost is explained in writing before treatment begins. No hidden fees. No pressure.

What affects cost
The exact cost depends on your case complexity, materials required, and the number of teeth involved. Dr. Nazish gives you a written quote after the free consultation — before any commitment.
Before & after your treatment
Before Treatment
- ›Get a full dental check-up and cleaning before braces — active decay must be treated first
- ›Stock up on orthodontic wax, a soft-bristle toothbrush, and interdental brushes
- ›Eat a comfortable meal before the brace fitting appointment — chewing will be sore for the first few days
- ›Have an electric toothbrush ready — oral hygiene is much harder with brackets
After Treatment
- ›Soreness after fitting and adjustments is normal — use over-the-counter pain relief and soft food for 3–5 days
- ›Brush after every meal — food gets trapped in brackets easily
- ›Use the provided interdental brushes around and under the archwire
- ›Avoid hard, sticky, or chewy foods throughout treatment — they damage brackets and extend treatment time

Common questions about Braces
What age is best for braces?
Anytime. Dr. Nazish treats teens and adults. There is no upper age limit for orthodontic treatment.
Do braces hurt?
Soreness after fitting and adjustments is normal and lasts 3–5 days. Over-the-counter pain relief is sufficient.
Can I get clear aligners instead of braces?
Depending on the case, yes. Complex crowding and bite issues are better treated with braces. We'll advise which gives you the better result.
How long do I need to wear a retainer?
Full-time for 3–6 months, then nights only for life. Teeth naturally shift without retention — this is not optional.
Can I play sports with braces?
Yes, with a mouthguard. We'll provide one — standard athletic mouthguards don't fit over brackets.
Do braces affect speech?
Slightly, for the first 1–2 weeks. Most patients adapt quickly. Ceramic braces and aligners have minimal speech impact.
